Two adjacent sides of a parallelogram are of length 15 cm and 18 cm. If the distance between two smaller sides is 12 cm, then the distance between two bigger sides is
A. 8 cm
B. 10 cm
C. 12 cm
D. 15 cm
Answer: Option B
Solution (By Examveda Team)

Area of parallelogram
= BC × FC
= 15 × 12
= 180 cm2
Area of parallelogram
DC × AE = 180
18 × AE = 180
AE = 10 cm
∴ Distance between bigger sides = 10 cm
