Uricose gland is present in male cockroach insects.
The occurrence of uricose glands in the male reproductive system appears to be unique for the Blattaria.
These glands in male cockroach are reproductive structures but it also helps in excretion. These glands are tubular structure emerging from utricular gland.
It stores uric acid and discharges it over the spermatophore during copulation.
