Selection Process:
1. Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

1. Physical Tests:
Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Male Candidates: Height: 165 cm (ST: 162 cm); Chest: 79 cm (unexpanded), 84 cm (expanded)
- Female Candidates: Height: 155 cm (ST: 150 cm)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male: Run 5000 meters in 25 minutes
- Female: Run 1600 meters in 9 minutes 30 seconds
- Ex-Servicemen: Run 2400 meters in 12 minutes 30 seconds

2. Written Examination:
The written exam comprises two papers:

Paper I: General Studies (Objective Type)
- Part A:
- Reasoning and Data Interpretation: 50 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 marks

- Part B:
- The Constitution of India and Public Administration: 25 marks
- History, Geography, and Cultural Heritage: 25 marks
- Current Affairs and General Knowledge: 25 marks
- Environment, Science and Technology, and Economics: 25 marks

- Total: 200 marks
- Duration: 3 hours
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 40% in each part

Paper II: Language Skills (Descriptive Type)
- Part A: Gujarati Language
- Essay (350 words): 30 marks
- Precis Writing: 10 marks
- Comprehension: 10 marks
- Report Writing: 10 marks
- Letter Writing: 10 marks

- Part B: English Language
- Precis Writing: 10 marks
- Comprehension: 10 marks
- Translation (Gujarati to English): 10 marks

- Total: 100 marks
- Duration: 3 hours

Note: Evaluation of Paper II is done only for candidates who score minimum 40% in each part of Paper I.

3. Document Verification:
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for document verification.
