A. 420

B. 432

C. 436

D. 440

Answer: Option B

Solution(By Examveda Team)

Let the number of apple divided be 5x, 6x, 7x.
So the total number of apples = 5x + 6x + 7x = 18x
According to the question,
Total number of apple must not exceed 440
18x <= 440
x <= 24.444
but x has to be an integer so x = 24
So total number of apples = 18x = 18*24 = 432
The divided number of apples are 120, 144, 168.
