24, 60, 120, 210, ?

A. 300

B. 336

C. 420

D. 525

Answer: Option B

Solution(By Examveda Team)

The pattern is + 36, + 60, + 90,.....i.e. + [6 x (6 + 0)], + [6 x (6 + 4)], + [6 x (6 + 9)],...
So, missing term = 210 + [6 x (6 + 15)] = 210 + 126 = 336.

    24 60 120 210 ?
    1st term 24 = 3^3-3=27-3=24
    2nd term 60 = 4^3-4=64-4=60
    3rd term 120 = 5^3-5=125-5=120
    4th term 210 = 6^3-6=216-6=210
    So, 5th term will be.. 7^3-7= 343-7=336
