Tamil Nadu Express is a superfast train operated by Indian Railways running between Chennai Central and New Delhi. Inaugurated by the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, this train first started in 1976 and was the only train that was a non-Rajdhani, but still considered to be the fastest, back in the day.
