Tukaram Bhakti saint of Maharashtra contributed to the Maratha movement. Sant Tukaram was a 17^th century, Hindu poet and saint, who started the 'Bhakti' movement, mainly in Maharashtra. He wrote several devotional poetries known as 'Abhanga', praising Lord Vishnu.
