The sex ratio of Gujarat has continued reducing from 1000 : 952 (1951) to 1000 : 918 (2011). In Gujarat the Dangs and Tapi districts have the highest sex ratio of 1000 : 1007 and 1000 : 1004 respectively, while Surat district has the lowest sex ratio of 1000 : 788 in 2011 census.
