Chhapar Fair fair is held on Anand Chaudas on the 4^th day of the Bhadon (August-September). The fair is celebrated at Gugga di Marhi, a big holy place built in his memory. This fair is held in memory of Gugga Pir who had extraordinary powers over all kinds of snakes. The place has a reputation for curing people of snake bites.
