Kausar Nag lake is situated between the peaks of Pir Panjal range in extreme South-West of Kashmir valley, in the Kulgam district. It is located at an altitude of 400 m above mean sea level. The lake is about 5 km long and 3 km wide. It is also known as Vishu Pad.
