A. Kairomone is beneficial to receiver

B. Synomone is beneficial to receiver and emitter

C. Antimones are non-advantageous to both receiver and releaser

D. None of these

Answer: Option D

Solution(By Examveda Team)

All the given options are correct none of these are incorrectly matched.
A. Kairomone is beneficial to receiver
Kairomones benefit the receiver rather than the emitter. They have been described as pheromones and allomones that have evolutionarily backfired and therefore may not represent a distinct class of chemical signals themselves.
B. Synomone is beneficial to receiver and emitter
A synomone is an interspecific semiochemical that is beneficial to both interacting organisms, the emitter and receiver, e.g. floral synomone of certain Bulbophyllum species attract fruit fly males as pollinators.
C. Antimones are non-advantageous to both receiver and releaser.
Antimony is a semimetallic chemical element that can exist in two forms: the metallic form is bright, silvery, hard and brittle; the non-metallic form is a grey powder. Antimony is a poor conductor of heat and electricity, it is stable in dry air and is not attacked by dilute acids or alkalis. Thus it is non advantageous to both receiver and releaser.
