Dry Deciduous Bamboo forests are found in Dasuya Forest Division only. These are found in Hoshiarpur and Gurdaspur. Patiala and Kapurthala have pure Bamboo forests. The main species found in these forests is male bamboo. The other species are Indian ash tree, bistendu, bastard teak, elm and amaltas.
