Meristem is the portion of the plant that is considered to be free from viruses. The apical and axillary meristems of plants are the best parts to make virus-free plants because of their high rate of multiplication and division which means the growth of meristems are much faster than the viral multiplication and virus are unable to invade the newly formed cells.
