Omar Abdullah was born on 10th March, 1970 in Rochford town in England. He is a politician from Jammu and Kashmir and the son of Farooq Abdullah. From 2001 to 2002, he remained as the Union Minister of State for External Affairs in Atal Bihari Vajpayee's NDA Government. In 2002, he became the President of the National Conference (Political Party). Again in 2006, he was re-elected as the President of this political party.
