The Bhoi dynasty was a mediaeval Hindu dynasty from the Indian subcontinent that flourished from 1541 to 1560 CE and started in the historical Odra area. As the kingdom weakened, Govinda Vidyadhara took the throne from the subsequent weaker Suryavamsa Gajapati Empire kings, although their reign as governing chiefs of Odisha was short-lived. Govinda Vidyadhara created the Bhoi dynasty in 1541.
