Samarth Ramdas was the religious guru of Shivaji. He was a devotee of Hanuman and Rama. He is also known as Sant Ramdas or Ramdas Swami. He was a contemporary of the Maratha rulers Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He was an Indian Hindu saint, philosopher, poet, writer and spiritual master.
