Solution(By Examveda Team)

Quantity of alcohol :
= $$\left( {\frac{{40}}{{100}} \times 5} \right)$$   litres
= 2 litres
∴ New strength :
$$\eqalign{ & = \left( {\frac{2}{6} \times 100} \right)\% \cr & = 33\frac{1}{3}\% \cr} $$
