    P=VI
    Since, I=V/R
    Therefore, P=V*V/R=V^2/R
    Putting P=3 W & R=220 ohm
    3=V^2/220
    V^2=3*220=660
    V=25.67=25.70 V

    (V^2)=P*R
    (V^2)=3*220=660
    V=25.69=25.7
