I don't get it the right answer . It is a 1500m3 or 2000m3 ? Can anyone tell me the solution
Option c is correct
Original vol. Comes out 2000m3
But we know
Cutting vol. =(1/4)*original volume
So putting the values we get
Cutting vol. =(1/4)* 2000=500
So box cutting in road crust=2000-500=1500
Original volvume = 1000 cu m
Cutoff volume = 500 cu m
So 2000-500 1500
Orginal volume = 1000m * 8m * (15cm+10cm),
= 1000 * 8 * 0.25cum,
= 2000 cum
Cutt-off volume = (1/4) * original volume.
= (1/4) * 2000cum,
= 500cum
So, Box cutting in road curst = (2000-500)
= 1500cum
yes it should be 2000
because if we calculate total thickness that will be .25m
and we have given width is 8m
length is 1000m
so total volume is 1000*8*.25 = 2000
how it .
Ans should be D): 2000 Cu M
How it .
Ans should be D -2000 M3
