D. 4

Answer: Option C

Solution(By Examveda Team)

Mean income
$$ = {\text{Rs}}{\text{.}}\left( {\frac{{15000 + 26000 + 16000 + 19000 + 50000}}{5}} \right)$$
$$\eqalign{ & = {\text{Rs}}{\text{.}}\left( {\frac{{126000}}{5}} \right) \cr & = {\text{Rs}}{\text{. 25200}} \cr} $$
Clearly, three people have monthly income below the mean income.
