D. More than 300 cms

Answer: Option B

Solution (By Examveda Team)

The correct answer is 100 to 200 cms. The season of the southwest monsoon, from mid-June to October, brings nearly all of the state's annual rainfall. Its ranges from about 40 inches (1,000 mm) in the west-central part of the state to more than 60 inches (1,500 mm) in the southwest. Rainfall on the plateau is generally heavier than on the plains.
