Cellulose degraders are the organisms that can decompose cellulose, cellulose degradation is carried out by the enzymes called “cellulases”, responsible for the hydrolysis of β-1,4-linkages present in cellulose.
Some of the cellulose degraders are Trichoderma viridae, Trichurus and Paecilomyces.
