Central Research Institute for Dry land agriculture is located in Santoshnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana, and was established in 1985 with a mandate to carry out basic and applied research in rainfed farming.
It is a constituent organization of ICAR, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.
