1. Laterite soil is composed by the prolonged and rigorous weathering of the parent rock.
Laterite soil is reddish to yellow in color with a lower content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, lime, and magnesia with 90% - 100% of iron, aluminum, titanium, and manganese oxides. The word laterite has been derived from the Latin word that means brick.

2. Alluvial soil is found in Morena, Bhind, Gwalior and Shivpuri districts.
It is the most fertile soil. It is formed due to eroded and deposited particles brought by rivers. It is found of the area of Central India's region which includes Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Gwalior and Shivpuri districts.
