Dapog is a rice cultivation method that involves growing seeds in a nursery. It was first used in the Philippines. In this, seeds are germinated and grown without soil. The seedlings are thus raised and can be rolled like a carpet with roots facing outside and carried to the field for transplantation. The seedlings are ready to transplant within 6 - 8 days.
