Dual purpose breed of sheep Mandya.
Mandya is found in the southern parts of the state, it is reared for sheep as well as meat. Colour is white, but in some cases face is light brown, and this colour may extend to the neck. Compact body with a typical reversed U-shape conformation from the rear.
Ears are long, leafy and drooping; ear length is 14.10 ± 0.10 cm. The tail is short and thin, tail length is 9.48 ± 0.19 cm.
