The greenhouse effect is the phenomenon of warming of the earth's atmosphere because of the emission of greenhouse gases, which trap harmful U.V and infrared Solar Radiation.
The main consequences of Green house effect increase in the temperature of the earth i.e. Global Warming which further leads to the melting of glaciers, a rise in Sea level, floods and famine, etc.
