% change = $$\frac{{\text{R}}}{{100 \pm {\text{R}}}}$$   × 100%
Required answer :
= $$\frac{40}{100 - 40}$$   × 100
= $$\frac{40}{60}$$ × 100
= $$\frac{200}{3}$$
= $$66\frac{2}{3}$$%
