A. 2
B. 3
C. 4
D. 5
Answer: Option B
Solution(By Examveda Team)
Let d and s represent the number of daughters and sons respectively. Then, we have :
d - 1 = s and 2 (s - 1) = d.
Solving these two equations, we get: d = 4, s = 3.

D. None of these
Each son has number of sisters twice to that of brothers, so the equation is-
2(B-1)= S-------(ii)
Solving the two equations (i) and (ii):
2(S-1-1) = S( replacing the value of B in equation ii by S-1)
So, S= 4 (sisters/daughters)
So, B = S-1 = 3 (sons/brothers)
