Male vegetarian = 32 - 8 = 24

    Out of 80 student 60% male=48
    and 32 are famel in class 12
    25% of are male vigeta 48*25/100=12
    36 are male non vegetarian
    Female vegetarian 32*0.75=24
    Femal non vege 32-24= 8
    36-24=12

    25% of veg. =32/100*25= 8 are male veg.
    Female veg.=32-8=24
    Total male=48
    Non veg. Male=48-8=40
    Difference=40-24=16

    the correct answer should be 24.but if you take it as 16, then they must be asking about the difference between male vegetarians and male non-vegetarians, instead of female vegetarians and male non-vegetarians.
    if i'm wrong, then plz explain. i'll be glad to know the right answer and the logic behind the one.
