D. 2.46%
Answer: Option A
Solution(By Examveda Team)
Actual cost price of an article := Rs. (5844 + 156)
= Rs. 6000
Selling price of that article = Rs. 5700
Loss = Rs. (6000 - 5700) = Rs. 300
Loss percent :
= $$\frac{300}{6000}$$ × 100
= 5%
