Ans is south bcoz sun is in East direction in the morning and when udai is facing south his shadow is in right. Due to facing each other udai's right is Vishal's left.
Sun - east : east left - north then Vishal is in north & udai must be in south.....🙁
They assumed that Uday is sat facing north direction.But according to me it can be either south or east
