A. 14 yrs

B. 14 yrs 3 mths

C. 14 yrs 6 mths

D. 14 yrs 9 mths

Answer: Option D

Solution(By Examveda Team)

Sum of the ages of 24 students
= (15 × 30) - (16 × 6)
= 450 - 96
= 354
∴ Required average
= $$\left( {\frac{{354}}{{24}}} \right)$$
= $$14\frac{3}{4}$$ yrs
= 14 yrs 9 mths
