Let the four even consecutive numbers
x, x + 2, x + 4, x + 6
According to the question,
$$\frac{{x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6}}{4} = 15$$
4x + 12 = 60
4x = 48
x = 12
∴ 2^nd highest number is
= x + 4
= 12 + 4
= 16
