Solution(By Examveda Team)

In changing the given sentence from direct speech to indirect speech, we need to follow the rules of reported speech. Here, the reporting verb is "enquired," and we need to adjust the sentence accordingly:

The original sentence is in direct speech: "The boy said, 'Who dare call you a thief?'"

In indirect speech, the reporting verb "said" is changed to "enquired," and the question is converted into a reported question. The pronoun "you" is changed to "him" to match the subject in the reporting clause:

So, the correct transformation is: Option A: The boy enquired who dared call him a thief.

Here the boy is addressing someone else rather than himself.
So the pronoun should be either she to make sense.
But in question if it was like:
The boy said, "Who dare call me a thief?" Then only the option A would be correct.

The boy is questioning so enquired will be the right word and 'you' will change to 'him'
