Calomel Electrode and Glass Electrode are emitter electrodes. These two types of electrodes are used for calibrating the ph meter and also used for the measurement of the pH of any substance.
An emitter electrode is an electrode on a transistor from which a flow of electrons or holes enters the region between the electrodes.
