LCM of 20, 28, 32, 35 will be the greatest number which is divisible by these numbers.
Firstly, we find LCM of 20, 28, 32, 35
20 = 2 × 2 × 5
28 = 2 × 2 × 7
32 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2
35 = 5 × 7
LCM = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 7 = 1120
Required greatest number which subtract from 5834 are divide by 20, 28, 32 and 35
= 5834 - 1120
= 4714

    For divisible by 20, the number must have 0 as unit digit.
    So 5834 must have 0 at ones place.
    4 have to be subtracted from unit digit
    Hence 4714 is the required number, since it has 4 at ones place.

    I think the language of the question is so confusing. It should be like.
    Find the greatest no which is obtained by subtracting the no 5834 from the no which is exactly divisible by 20,28,32 and 35.
