A. -2

B. -1

C. 1

D. 2

Answer: Option A

Solution(By Examveda Team)

LCM of prime number x and y = 161   (given)
⇒ xy = 161
⇒ xy = 23 × 7
⇒ x = 23, y = 7   (∵ x > y given)
So, the value of (3y - x)
= 3 × 7 - 23
= 21 - 23
= -2
