B. Rs. 1,200
C. Rs. 1,025
D. Rs. 1,170
Answer: Option D
Solution (By Examveda Team)
Total discount % = $$\frac{{587.40}}{{1500}}$$ × 100 = 39.16%It's mean discount will be more than 20%
When, we let discount 22% it's satisfied
22 + 22 - $$\frac{{22 \times 22}}{{100}}$$ = 39.16%
So, discount = 22%
Cost price = $$\frac{{1500 \times 78}}{{100}}$$ = 1170
