When was the Chota Nagpur Tenancy Act enforced?

Birsa Munda, who led the Adivasi rebellion, died in prison in 1900 at the age of 25. But in a direct concession to the demands of the Munda rebellion, the British were forced to enact the Chota Nagpur Tenancy Act in 1908, conferring special protections on the land of small cultivators.
