Which has the maximum rate of deforestation?

Maximum deforestation occurs in tropical zone mostly in Amazon rain forests due to animal (cattle) ranching equalling 14% of world's total annual deforestation. A 1991 study shows 90% of deforested tropical regions becoming farms or ranchland, while only 10% is replanted for future timber harvests.
