The biocontrol agents are agents which originate naturally and protect plants from their natural enemies like parasites, predation, etc. these agents are harmful to specific organisms and do not harm the useful plants and organisms present in the soil.
For the Lantana plant, Uropalta giraldi, Ophiomya lantanae and Crocidocema lantanae all act as bio-control agent.
