    1/3 and 1/4 = 12 (Multiply the denominator 3 * 4 =12)
    15*12=180
    In The Question Requirement is : "then three-tenth of that number is:"
    So We Get 3/10
    3/10*180 (we can cut 180 is 18 time comes into 10th table )
    So 3 * 18 = 54

    @sarasangma, Question says, 1/3 * 1/4 * X = 15, which means X=180 , yeah ? Then, again, as per question the ans is : 180 * 3/10 = 54.

    Then X=15*12=180
    180*3/10=54
