If the total demand in E is 80% of demand in A, what is the demand in A?

A. 2500

B. 2400

C. 4500

D. 5000

Answer: Option A

Solution(By Examveda Team)

The total demand in E = Total input into E.
  → 550 + 800 + 650 = 2000
$$\eqalign{ & = \frac{2000\times100}{80} \cr & =2500 \cr} $$
Hence, the demand in A will be 2500.

    Got it
As E is getting input of 2000 units. This 2000 is 80%. Then 100% will be 2500 units in A
