Arka Krishika is a variety of Gerbera. This is the desi variety of gerbera, released by ICAR-horticultural Research.
Flowers are the double type with yellow colour. Its Yield is 400 to 425 flowers/m²/year. It is usually used as a Cut flower and for floral decoration. The most important characteristic is it is suitable for open field cultivation.
