Bdellovibrio is a Gram -ve bacteria.
Bdellovibrio is highly motile, flagellated, tiny measuring about 0.25 × 1.0 μm, Gram-negative Deltaproteobacteria.
It is an obligate predatory bacterium that lives by attacking other Gram-negative bacteria, including a very wide range of human pathogens but does not predate on Gram-positive bacterial strains.
