Boron deficiency in radish causes Akashin.
The leaves of boron deficient radishes are deformed, brittle and chlorotic. In cases of severe boron deficiency, the leaf tip dies. The roots crack and are pale in colour.
The growth of the root is checked. This disorder generally occurs due to a deficiency of Boron. It is induced by fluctuation in day and night temperature.
