The Carnation variety tolerant to nematodes and fusarium wilt is Arka Flame.
It is an in vitro mutation selection from IIHRS-1, standard type carnation with a single flower on the straight stalk and produces flowers of red colour with smooth petal edges. Elongated flower buds open slowly and have good keeping quality. It yields 300 - 360 flowers.m² per year with a thick straight flower stalk. The most important characteristic of this variety is its tolerance to nematode and fusarium wilt.
