The HEIL Series Vertical Countercurrent Scrubber is designed specifically for the efficient removal of corrosive, noxious and/or nuisance gases from process or ventilation air streams.
Traveling a tortuous route through the packing extends the contact time between the air and the liquid and increases the intimacy of gas/liquid contact. The gas then passes through the liquid spray above the packing.
