4 years are there so 365+365+366+365 here 366 means 2008 is a leap year so we take 1+1+2+1 It becomes 5

I think ..From 2006-2009, the no. Of odd days are 5 so,31st Dec,2009 will be Friday ... thus 1st Jan, 2010 will be Saturday.

2006 is ordinary year it's 1
2007 is ordinary year it's 1
2008 is leap year it's 2
2009 is ordinary year it's 1

1+1+2+1=5 odd days
S M T W T F S
0 1 2 3 4 5 6

5odd days it'll become Friday

Here odd days means 365%7 = 1 and in 2008(leap year) so 366%7 = 2 even year.

In ordinary year there is 52 weeks and 1 day extra so that day is odd day for ordinary year ......for leap year 52 weeks and 2 odd day means 2 extra day.
